In Salesforce, a tag is a word or short phrases that users can associate with most records, to describe and organize their data in a personalized way. Administrators can enable tags for accounts, activities, assets, campaigns, cases, contacts, contracts, dashboards, documents, events, leads, notes, opportunities, reports, solutions, tasks, and any other custom objects (except relationship group members). The alternate way to access Tags is through the SOAP API.
