1. While a version of a journey is running, a new draft of the journey is designed.
2. When the draft's design is complete, activate it.Note When a new version is activated, contacts that already entered the previous version remain in the previous version.
3. The new version of the journey begins admitting contacts. No contacts enter the previousversion now.
4. The previous version of the journey continues to process contacts until all contacts thatwere present when the new version was activated have exited.
5. All contacts that qualify for the journey now enter the new version.
6. When all contacts that were present when the new version was activated have exited, itbecomes an inactive version.
