Design Home Page Layouts in Salesforce Classic
- From Setup, enter Home Page Layouts in the QuickFind box, then select Home Page Layouts.
- Click to edit an existing layout or create one. Alternately, select a layout to copy and click Clone.
- If you create a layout, give it a name and then click Save.
- Select the components to display on the layout.To add the Find Articles component, select Article Search. This component is only available for Salesforce Knowledge users.To add the Customer Portal component, select Customer Portal Welcome. If the My Profile site Visualforce page has been enabled, this component contains a personalized welcome message and a link to the portal user’s profile. The My Profile page enables users logged into either your Salesforce site, or your Customer Portal from Salesforce sites, to update their own contact information. When they make changes to this page, the corresponding portal user and contact records are updated.To allow your users to resume flow interviews that they’ve paused, select Paused Flow Interviews. This component displays only flow interviews that the user has paused.Note You can add up to 20 components to a home page layout.

- Customize the order in which the narrow and wide components appear. Move a component by selecting it and using the arrow buttons.
- Click Save.
