1. If you’re using Lightning Experience, switch to Salesforce Classic.
2. From the object management settings for user territory associations, go to the fields area.
3. Click Role in Territory, and then clickNew.
4. Enter the picklist values you want and click Save. The values you entered are now available for selection from the Rolein Territory picklist on the territory’s Users Assigned edit page.
