1. From the home page, select Create | Dashboard.
2. Select a template, and then click Continue.For example, select Blank Dashboard in the DashboardDesigner.In addition to the blanktemplate, you can choose a template with a prebuilt dashboard design. These templatesare built for dashboard designer only.
3. To edit the dashboard, click .
4. If you selected a prebuilt template, you can add a step to each widget by clicking the icon inside an empty widget. A wizard guides you through adding the step.When you complete the wizard, Analytics populates the widget based on the results of the step. Analytics also adds the step to the step panel.
5. To save the dashboard to an app, click .
6. Enter a title and description, and then select the app in which you want to save the dashboard.The permissions on the app determine each user’s access to the dashboard. To ensure that the right users have the right access to the dashboard, review the app permissions.
7. Click Save.
8. Click and then click Dashboard Properties to set the default widget properties.When you create a widget, you can specify whether the widget uses the default properties. Use defaults to ensure that the background and borders of all widgets are consistent.
