Create a Marketing Automation Email
- Navigate to Salesforce | Tools and Analytics | Marketing Automation.
- Optionally, select the business unit.
- Select the email message to be used.
- Select the field mapping set that is to be used. Note that this set must include mappings for each entity receiving 'sends' as a part of the marketing automation.
- Type in the subject for your send. Note that you can add personalization to your subject with the use of the dropdown list that is located beside the Subject field.
- Optionally, enter the preheader and personalization for the send.
- Select the From option that is to be used. Note that when the Send Classification is selected, both commercial and transactional send classifications appear for selection.
- Optionally, select the campaign that is to be associated with the email.
- Optionally, select the checkbox in order to return individual tracking results as Marketing Cloud responses.
- Click on Remove Duplicate Recipients.
- Certify that all email recipients have opted-in.
- Click on OK.
