1. To forecast by schedule date, make sure that you’veenabled product schedules and set them up to reflect expected sales. To forecast by productdate, make sure that you’ve defined product dates to reflect expected sales.
2. On the Forecasts Settings page in Setup, add theopportunity revenue or quantity forecast type, and then select Schedule date or Product date as the forecast date type.An opportunity revenue or quantity forecast type isassociated with one forecast date type. If you’ve already enabled an opportunity revenue orquantity forecast type, delete it, and then add it again with Schedule date or Product date selected.
3. Click OK, and then save your changes.
