Check a Record’s Data Status in Salesforce Classic
- Open the account, contact, or lead that you want to check.If you don’t see the Data Integration Rules related list, ask your Salesforce admin to add it to the page.
- Click Update. The record’s data status is updated.When a record matches a record in the data service, blank fields are filled inautomatically. Except for geocode rules, data integration rules don’t overwrite data on yourrecords. If the new data is different from your existing data, you can manually review andselect the data you want by switching to Lightning Experience.Records that are updated automatically are shown as last modified by Data.com Clean.When you change one or more fields that a rule uses to match a record, the record isupdated after you save it.If the updated data is no longer available, the data isn’t deleted. Instead, it’s labeledInactive.
