1 | Apply a Style to an Object
- Select the object(s) you'd like to apply the Style to.
- In the Properties panel, click on the Style icon (four dots) next to the property you want to update:
- In the Styles menu, you will see your Local Styles and any Styles shared via the Team Library. Styles will be ordered alphabetically by team name and then file name.
- Select the Style you want to use in order to apply it to the select object(s):
How to Manage Teams within Organizations
- Navigate to View All teams button of the Figma app which is at the bottom-left corner. Note: You will need to be in the File Browser and not the Editor.
- Navigate to Teams tab
- Now you will be able to see the Team name, number of Projects that are in the Team,number of Members , and the Org Access level.
Deleting Objects
- Make your Smart Selection.
- Click on the pink ring on the center of an object in order to mark it. Hold down [Shift] and click on another object to mark it.
- Delete the marked objects by pressing the "delete" or "backspace" key on the keyboard.
- The other objects in the Selection will then move to fill the gap.
Positions and Dimensions
- Select an object on the canvas.
- Place your cursor over the label next to the input and watch the cursor change. You can also place your cursor over the input field and use alt/option + click for the same.
- Now click and drag in order to change the input value.
Text Styles
- Select the Text layer that you want to create a Style of.
- Click the Style icon (four dots) in the Text section of the Properties Panel.
- Click the "+" icon in the Text Styles menu in order to create a new style.
- Give the Style a name and then click on Create Style to apply.
Updating Text Layers
- Select the Text object(s) in the canvas.
- open the Advanced Type menu by clicking on the three dots in the Properties Panel.
- Click on the Update button in the bottom-right corner.
- The selected Text then uses the new text rendering.
How to View, Edit and Delete Styles
- Make any changes to the properties listed.
- Click on the 'eye' icon to hide or display the property on any objects the style is applied to.
- Click on the "-" to remove the property from the Style.

PNG(Portable Network Graphics)
- Angular and Diamond gradients are exported as Radial gradients.
- Background Blur will not be exported.
- Strokes are converted into fills after being exported.
- By default, the text will be exported as glyphs versus editable text objects. You can preserve the text by disabling the Outline Text option(see below).
Using Smart Selection
- Adjust the vertical and/or horizontal space between the objects.
- Create uniform or non-uniform grids from a selection of objects.
- Rearrange, duplicate or delete the objects within a row, column or grid layout.
