Add User-Created Attribute
- Click Administration.
- Click Applications.
- Click Audience Builder.
- Click Manage Attributes.
- Choose the attributes from the list of available attributes in Contact Builder.
- Choose whether to use raw data or display unique values.
- To make the attributes available as personalization strings in your messaging activities, select the Use as appendable attribute checkbox. You can only choose this option for attributes with a 1:1 relationship in Contact Builder.
- Click Next.
- Leave the default automation in place unless you absolutely need a different automation for your activities.
- Enter the email addresses that receive a notification when the attribute deploys for the first time.
- Click Next.
- Review the summary of added attributes, their configuration, and the chosen automation.
- Click Done.
