Backup Workflow
- In the Sales or Service Cloud Setup menu, clickCreate.
- Click Workflow & Approvals.
- Click Workflow Rules.
- Click New Rule.
- Select the Email Send Object and clickNext.
- Enter BackupWorkflow for Rule Name.
- Select to evaluate the rule when a record is createdand any time it’s edited to subsequently meetcriteria.
- Set Rule Criteria as Email Send: Backup WorkflowDate/Timenot equal to and leave the Value empty.
- Click Save & Next.
- Click Add Time Trigger.
- For Workflow Time Trigger Edit, set as 0HoursAfterEmail Send: Backup Workflow Date/Time.
- Click Save.
- For Time-Dependent Workflow Actions, click AddWorkflow Action for the new time trigger.
- Choose Select Existing Action.
- For Choose Action Type, set Search as FieldUpdate.
- For Available Actions, add Field Update:Update:UnpopulateBackupWorkflow to Selected Actions.
- Click Save.
- Click Done.
- Click Activate.
